Mermaid Room
Room Description
This lovely "Mermaid Room" on the second floor features a king size bed with down comfort pad. Comfort is our business. We have decorated this room with a ceiling painting of the ocean painted several years ago by my daughter, Ashley, an artist. The wall canopy was made from fabric designed in India and we added real star fish. Lovely ruffled curtains adorn the window with more star fish.
Enjoy your self-serve breakfast in the dining room. The thermostat is right outside your room to regulate the entire top floor. Please do not turn it off. If you get cold there are extra blankets and quilts. Each room has its own air conditioner in the window.
The beautiful bath is roomy with a large bathtub with shower; double sinks; recently completely redone in all tile with a Western theme. We supply shampoo, conditioner, soap, hair dryer, etc.
In addition to the TV in the living room you have a TV in your room and we have WIFI. There is an ironing board and iron in the hallway for your use. You have your own key to the front door and your room.
You will receive a key to the front door when you check in at 3 o'clock or after in the afternoon and a key to your private room upstairs. You will have access to the living room, dining room, front porch and yard.
Your heat and cool thermostat is in the hall upstairs. Please do not turn it off. The fan in your room is controlled with your light switch on and off with the light and with the pull strings. It works very well. Your air conditioner is in your window. If you have any problems text me. My phone number is in your room on the brochure card.
Part of the house is blocked off for family privacy. I hope you understand. I do have my own pets but I keep them separated from my guests in my section of the house and in the back yard, too.
